10 Techniques with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and Nathalie Kalbach's elephant stamp set

Hi everyone,
I recently bought all 12 colours of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and let me just tell you that I fell in love with them. They are AH- MAZING.

I took Nathalie Kalbach's Stampendous elephant stamp set and used it to create 10 different elephant print techniques in one video tutorial.

I just loved experimenting with them. I tried not to watch too many videos about them so I could experiment without previous assumptions.

Here is the video tutorial:

You, Me & The Sea-- 7 Dots Studio Challenge Altered Art

For my give-away press HERE

I created a 3D pop up book page for the "Altered Art" theme for the 7 Dots Studio March challenge.

I used both Destination Unknown and Cotton Candy Dreams to create this underwater assemblage.

Here is the inspiration circle you must include in your post when join the challenge:

I used chipboard, flowers, mini art stones, real shells and starfish and a mini glass bottle. I combined everything with some mixed media sprays, gesso, alcohol inks and stuck it all with gel.

I mounted it all on an old hard cover book so it would be sturdy enough to withstand the mixed media products and the heavy pieces. I’m quite pleased with the results.

This is a picture of my kids during a photo shoot at the beach so I thought it was perfect for this off the page project.

I just love ocean/beach projects. I love the colours and the beautiful objects you can use. I really loved creating this project as It looks my kids are in an underwater adventure.

Life is Good- 7 Dots Studio Layout with Video Tutorial

For my give-away press HERE

Hi Everyone,
I'm up on the 7 Dots Studio blog.
I created a layout using the Fortune Teller collection. I love the dark rich tones of that collection especially how the brown and turquoise combine so beautiful.

Below is the step by step video tutorial on how I created this layout. Enjoy!!

I added lots of texture to create depth and movement around the photo. The crackles in the background mimic the beautiful trees in the photo.

This photo was taken in my recent trip to Mexico. I just loved this hidden shelter between the trees.
